Design agency
Carbone 14 studio is a design agency founded by Julien Gorrias. The studio develops objects, furniture and scenography from background research on materials, uses and know-how. Each project combines experimentation, precise manufacturing and dialogue with demanding industrial sectors.
The return of the shepherd is the result of two years of research on contemporary uses of French wool. Developed in close collaboration with Traille and Laulhère, the prototype explores the structural and sensitive qualities of this material, offering a sober and sustainable way of transformation.
