Index Office is a strategic and creative design studio that develops a sensitive approach to contemporary technologies. The studio's field of research focus on industrial design at the scale of everyday life products, furnitures, and scenography.

The studio is driven by a constant search for functionality, sustainability, appropriation, and timelessness.Founded in 2019 by Nelson Fossey, Index Office has initiated long-term collaborations with various manufacturers, artisans, architects, publishers, and institutions to design innovative and tailor-made solutions.

FILAE converts light into matter via additive manufacturing. The filament, infused with miscanthus fibers, is arranged flat like thread on a modern loom, resulting in delicate pendant lights. The efficient use of materials and minimalist design unveil a soft, luminous, and naturally golden presence, where light engages with the botanical material.

Manufactured in 3D printing FDM (melted wire deposit), with the novifil PLM-20 loaded with miscanthus fibres grown in Seine-et-Marne (77)
