Ceramicist
Juliette Vivien is a French ceramicist specializing in openwork porcelain, creating hand-crafted craft pieces in her workshop in the Paris region. Initiated very young in ceramics, she trained at the École Duperré and founded her business in 2018. His subtle and contemporary work was rewarded with the Ateliers d’Art de France's Prize of Young Creation in 2020.
MEMORIAE is an elegant jewelry box featuring a bowl with a turned and openwork porcelain neck. Its two-tiered lid, embellished with an ebony jeweled button set in brass and safeguarded by a porcelain cage, unveils a secondary compartment lined with cork and leather, capable of accommodating sixteen rings. A central handle grants access to the core of the box: a flame-patinated earthenware bowl lined with leather.
